Friday, May 25, 2012, 8:00 AM ETWal-Mart (WMT) says it's seeing good results with a pilot program of small-sized stores called Walmart Express. Execs say the stores are showing profits and the company could roll out hundreds more in the near future. Designed to catch spur-of-the-moment shoppers and small enough to tuck into tight spaces, Walmart Express stores could pose a threat to Walgreen (WAG), CVS Caremark (CVS), and Rite Aid (RAD) in the future.

Big cities are all the same - congestion, high prices, crime etc. In New York City - one of the worst, you experience ridiculous prices for real estate, high crime rates, lots of traffic, indebted government, central planning to the max, rats outnumber people etc. Yeah! What a great place to live.
Except for the large influx of latino and asian immigrants that are going to the poorer neighbourhoods in Brooklyn and Queens, people want to leave NYC more than stay.
I live in a 4700 square foot home that costs me $2800 per month, total! It has 3 finished levels with a 2 car garage out front. It takes me 6 minutes to drive to Walmart and the major shopping area (only 2 miles away). I park for free, and everything else is within a 15 minute drive of my home. I don't sit in traffic, there hasn't been a murder in my city in over 9 years, and I can sit out in my backyard and relax, while listening to the birds.
The only great thing about NY is the quality of doctors - you guys have the best.
