Is a Grexit bullish for U.S. equities? Credit Suisse believes a Greek exit from the eurozone could initially push the S&P 500 down to 1,200 but would prompt an "aggressive policy response" that could lift the market over 20%. A full eurozone disintegration could see the S&P drop to 950. In any case, the crisis will have to get worse before the ECB ramps up its policy response.

  • So a Greek exit will hurt a fair amount; but even a full disintegration wouldn't be nearly as bad as the Lehman Bros attack??

  • The Greek exit is just the beginning. Spain is much larger than Greece. No time to be optimistic here.
