Thursday, May 31, 2012, 5:46 PM ETGoogle (GOOG) has filed a complaint with the EU accusing Nokia (NOK) and Microsoft (MSFT) of transferring 1,200 patents to Canadian patent troll MOSAID (MBTHF.PK), with the goal of driving up prices for rival (i.e. Android) devices. The move comes as the EU investigates complaints from Microsoft and Apple that Motorola Mobility is making unfair use of its standards-essential patents in IP disputes.
