Thursday, May 31, 2012, 7:59 PM ETBrazilian miner Vale (VALE) says it's declared force majeure on shipments from an Australian coal mine. The Carborough Downs mine, part of Vale's operations in the Central Bowen Basin in Queensland, was shut down after high levels of carbon monoxide were detected.
