Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 9:00 AM ETFreescale Semi (FSL) names Texas Instruments (TI) exec. Gregg Lowe to replace the retiring Rich Beyer as CEO, effective immediately. Beyer, who was in the job for four years, will continue on Freescale's board to help with the transition. Lowe joined TI in 1984 and most recently served as the head of its analog semiconductor ops.
