Thursday, June 7, 2012, 3:57 PM ETThe long-rumored deal to have Apple add Baidu (BIDU) as a search option for iPhones could be announced next week, reports Bloomberg, citing sources. Baidu handles about 80% of Chinese Internet searches and the move should fit with Tim Cook's hope to grab a bigger share of the world's largest mobile market.

BIDU to $200 soon.
China, India, and South America are the three regions that Apple will tap into in a huge way. The deal with BIDU is just the start, in my opinon.
I am long Apple and have been for years.
Where is Jon Corzine?

.Corzine is on a beach some place!
Thank you for agreeing with my comment. I have mentioned those three areas as being "over looked" by many analysts. Not sure how you can miss China and India, but what do I know?
Corzine, if not raising money for the President, is enjoying his new chateau in France. Reports are that the chateau could be near a beach! In any event, he should be behind bars, in my opinion.
Have a great evening.
How does this stuff continue to happen?
This appears to be as negative for GOOG as is it is positive for AAPL. First Maps, now this.
Maybe AAPL does an iSearch some day.
China, India, and South America would be the trifecta of internet/phone sales! I can’t imagine a stock valuation should one company win those three races! “Wow” That would rock..$$$$
Good point, I would say I-Search is a very good possibility some day in the near future. Perhaps GOOG is feeling the intrusion and reality of that.
The question would be, should that happen would Google go down the path of Yahoo in the future?
