    The 19 largest U.S. banks are at least $50B short of meeting Basel III requirements. Smaller U.S. banks are around $10B short of the requirements, the Fed said yesterday.

  • Don't you just love the financial media...."at least 50 billion more dollars"....of course they don't tell you by when...and what these 19 banks would earn over the required period to make up the capital shortfall...why include that stuff ( probably says the editor ..."it would dilute the shock value")....probably too much homework for the reporter
