It seems like judges are getting patent battle fatigue from the various smartphone court disputes. "I just don't have the human bandwidth to handle the strain of the companies' multiplying demands," says Judge Lucy Koh of Apple (AAPL) and Samsung (SSNLF.PK). She's also called the situation "cruel and unusual." (See dismissal)

  • Google with Android Samsung HTC now UltraBooks have been "knocking off"(aka as "stealing") (AAPL) Patents/IP for years.
They have a legal right to defend themselves in all courts. Jobs was DEAD ON about how massive this fraud/theft is.But hopefully new Samsung CEO and Tim Cook can settle.Would be better for business of both companies.

  • Best to get even with them by taking your business elsewhere. I don't know if anyone can make screens/displays as nice as Samsung. I presume Apple could find another foundry for the chips they need. I'm just amazed at the volume of business between these two companies while they are engaged in killer competition. Something has to give. Cramer was suggesting this morning that INTC may get the Apple chip business away from Samsung.
