    The FDA has delayed by three months a decision on whether Gilead (GILD) can expand the use of its HIV treatment Truvada as a therapy to prevent the disease. The date was moved tentatively to September 14 in order for the agency to review GILD's plan to ensure people won’t misuse the drug.

  • THIS IS A GOOD IDEA. GILEAD SHOULD PUT AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN PLACE SO HIGH RISK PEOPLE AND PHYSICIANS KNOW HOW TO MINIMIZE NEW INFECTIONS AND VIRAL RESISTANCE.
