Dimon testimony: He fights back at Ina Drew (possibly a source of yesterday's report), saying his "tempest in a teapot" comment was "dead wrong," but based on information he was getting from the CIO. "It's likely there will be clawbacks (of CIO bonuses)."

  • Clawbacks of bonuses.....how about wholesale terminations. And, after watching Corzine handle "risk management", kindly help us understand, what JPM will be doing to contain risk?

  • Hey, that's my line!

    Where is Jon Corzine?

I heard Mr. Dimon on the radio tonight saying that they could choose to "clawback bonuses." The report went on to say that Mr. Dimon is against any changes in the current laws that govern banks. It appears that RMO were doing their jobs at JPM and MF Global, but in both cases the men in charge thought that they knew better.

    Isn't that typical?

  • I found it telling when he said they were forced to take TARP funds, as BofA said the same thing, and they used it to become even too bigger to fail! haha.
