Good news for me. ARR makes up a large portion of my small portfolio. Glad it is keeping the dividend the same.

I have ARR in my trading account & the dividend really helps with the margin debt. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get the preferred for my IRA but after two tries I gave up the chase & bgt. a new position in ARCC & added into my existing STWD which are both strong buy's as far as I'm concerned.

I have had ARR for a little while, happy. Diversify. Also have PSEC, NLY [as of yesterday], I heard NLY was gonna raise their dividend again. Just a rumor. And CIM. CIM is the shady guy on the corner with a cheap watch to sell, but it seems the watch may be a good one, so I am keeping it. [for now]. I have run across some other REITs that are getting my attention,but with running my lil boat business, I can't find the time. If anyone knows of some REITs that lQQk warm and fuzzy, let me know please.

I have positions in NLY, AGNC, and CYS. For those who do not know or realize, CIM is a subsidiary of Annaly (NLY).

Every dividend I glean out of this nasty market, is just a confirmation of the idea I have, that the REIT sector is the best place to be [for now], There will be stumbling blocks, ( like CIM ) slowing down my parade, but as long as the dividends stay above 10%, I am happy as I steer towards retirement, where income becomes paramount, and bragging rights are not as important when you have a good income outside of the markets. I am sure, the REIT market will continue to pay nicely for at least a year, but with the risk of the high payers being interest rates going up, and internal crime in the companies it is not a soft warm ride. I am totally on alert for criminals in ALL areas of investing. Sad commentary for our wonderful country, that we need and have so few policemen.
