Thursday, June 14, 2012, 12:30 PM ETKinder Morgan Partners (KMP) says its Kinder Morgan crude/condensate pipeline is now in service and available to transport volumes to the Houston Ship Channel; the ~$215M pipeline is supported by long-term contractual commitments and has a capacity of 300K bbl/day. KMP says the project will be immediately accretive to cash available to KMP unitholders.

Kinder Morgan is not the only MLP where this happens. Other pipeline MLPs share this history of being traded as such. Maybe there are not enough unitholders out there who do not understand this disconnect between oil price and oil transportation?
