    Schlumberger (SLB) confirms that it, along with its partner Petrofrac, has won the right to drill in Mexico's Panuco Field. The parcel is one of six properties placed on the auction block by state-owned Pemex.

  • I'm curious. Have I missed something ? I thought Schlumberger was a service company, not a drilling company. I thought they sent their instruments down the wells after somebody else did the drilling. When did they enter the drilling business ? Or, is it Petrofrac that's going to do the drilling followed by SWS's instruments ?
