Friday, June 22, 2012, 10:21 AM ETIn addition to starting Skyworks with a Buy, Canaccord's Mike Walkley is starting rivals RF Micro (RFMD -3.2%) and TriQuint (TQNT +1.9%) at Hold (I, II). Walkley thinks RF Micro's business, hurt by declining sales of Nokia and 2G Chinese phones, is turning a corner on the back of smartphone demand, but he doesn't like the company's valuation. As for TriQuint, he likes its product line and RF filter tech, but thinks higher capacity utilization might not happen until 2014. (yesterday)
