Kinder Morgan Partners (KMP) says shippers on its chronically overbooked Trans Mountain oil pipeline system between Alberta and the Pacific coast will be limited to just 27% of their hoped-for volumes in July. More shippers are seeking to move oil through Vancouver, where it can be shipped to Asian markets offering richer returns than traditional markets such as the U.S. Midwest.

  • What a surprise....Obviously, Canada is letting the US know that they can go elsewhere with their oil!! This is what we reap with not allowing the TransCanada Pipeline!! Where in the world do we get our brains not working with our Northern neighbor? We again reap what we sow.
