The auto giant has begun a voluntary buyout program at a second Brazilian factory, while extending an offer at another plant. A metalworkers union claims GM has cut nearly 2K jobs at the factories over the last year, as it struggles to cut high domestic inventories in the face of softening auto demand. Brazilian auto sales are down 5% Y/Y through May.
