    In the estimated 35th round of the Apple-HTC patent war, Apple (AAPL) is suing HTC for allegedly failing to license standards-essential 4G LTE patents under FRAND terms. Apple and Samsung are also locked in a dispute over FRAND patents, and the E.U. is monitoring the situation closely. Meanwhile, HTC appears to be showing Apple the sincerest form of flattery by joining Samsung and LG in working on a Siri clone.

  • There will be *many* virtual personal assistants or VPAs (some "Siri clones") coming out, including Majel (Google). The key will be to make them more than annoying chatbots, well integrated with SW suites, utilizing machine learning and NLP to a more proficient or at least "clever" extent.
