Monday, June 25, 2012, 6:09 PM ETThe ITC says it will conduct an extensive review of an administrative law judge's ruling that the iPhone (AAPL) and 3G/4G iPads infringe on a standards-essential patent held by Motorola Mobility (GOOG). In theory at least, the commission could impose a ban on any devices found to be infringing on the patent. However, as in other disputes (I, II), close attention is being paid to whether the patent being asserted should be licensed on FRAND terms.
