    Along with an expected summer refresh of the 7" Kindle Fire (I, II), Amazon (AMZN) is working on a 10" model, BGR reports. It's added the build quality for the new models will be "vastly improved" from the current Fire, with metal casing being used instead of plastic.

    Regardless of the build quality, the 7" Fire is dead in the water with Google's recently announced 7" tablet hitting the market place a month earlier. Not only does Google's tablet have incredible specs and use the latest Android release, it is selling for $199, the same price as the new Fire. The 10" model may have some success but it will never match the iPad for user friendliness, stability, and versatility.
