Friday, June 29, 2012, 3:54 PM ETSpectra Energy (SE +0.6%) receives final approval to build a $1.2B natural gas pipeline connecting New York City to the New Jersey network and producing regions across the U.S., and says it will begin construction "in the coming weeks." The pipeline, the first in 40 years to connect NYC to the wider U.S. gas grid, is expected to be completed in Q4 2013.
