Monday, July 9, 2012, 5:16 AM ETLooking to save money, Maine is preparing to slash over 20,000 Medicaid recipients from the state's rolls following the Supreme Court's ruling on the Healthcare Act, which Maine believes blocks a ban on such cuts. Wisconsin, Alabama and other states could follow suit, although there is disagreement about whether the court's ruling allows them to do this without incurring penalties.

We've been instructed by our betters that it's not a mandate and these would not be penalties--they're taxes and since Congress has unlimited powers and the president rules by decree, the "disagreement" over these matters will be resolved by a few keystrokes and a presidential finding--unless Michelle is in Spain this week.
Perhaps another court case making its way to the Supreme Court so we could know how to proceed?
