  • Apple is down this afternoon because of a pretty serious undertow in the market, specifically the extremely poor outlook Cummins laid down--extending its negative view for up to 4 years! Caterpillar took gas immediately, all infrastructure stocks fell in unison, and this very influential combination sucked the wind out of the market--world-wide.

AAPL fought against the tide for hours, only to go down slightly near the end of the day. Actually, it was a great stand--if you watched the whole day of trading--but eventually, irresistibly negative forces won the day! And AAPL has been on the steady rise on an RSI basis for days--time for a little breather/profit taking for some/buying opportunity for others!

  • If iTravel can speed the boarding pass and flight check-in system, Apple has hit another homerun, in my opinion.

I am long Apple and travel. Call it a win-win for a poor day on Wall Street.
