Nokia (NYSE:NOK) adds 3 more patents to an infringement suit it filed against Research In Motion (RIMM) in May. Like many of the patents used in Apple and Microsoft's infringement suits, Nokia's IP covers some rather basic software "inventions," such as updating software over a mobile connection and storing/transferring multimedia tags. Nokia, which says it's open to selling some of its patents, has become more aggressive in trying to monetize its IP.
