    More smartphone data: In major European markets, the iPhone's (AAPL) share is lower than in the U.S. According to Kantar Comtech, it ranged from 25.6% in the U.K. in Q2, to 3.2% in recession-hit, subsidy-deprived Spain. Modest Y/Y share losses were seen in all markets except the U.K., while Android (GOOG), which is often attached to much cheaper devices, saw major share gains, largely at the BlackBerry (RIMM) and Symbian's (NOK) expense.
