Friday, July 13, 2012, 9:19 AM ETApparently government officials in China don't understand (or care) about the strategic timing of movie launches after children-oriented films from Fox (NWS) and Comcast (CMCSA) are both scheduled to launch on the same date in the nation. 20th Century Fox's Ice Age: Continental Drift and The Lorax from Universal Pictures will both hit screens in China on July 27. In the U.S., the Lorax film has piled up $213.5M so far, while Ice Age debuts this weekend.
