Die-hard Apple fan MG Siegler offers a surprisingly positive review of Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Nexus 7: he praises its form factor and the polish of Android 4.1, and calls the 7 superior to the Kindle Fire (NASDAQ:AMZN) "in pretty much every way." Siegler adds it's now "an absolute no-brainer" for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to make a 7" tablet, something plenty of rumors indicate will happen. The WSJ's Ben Rooney also writes favorably about the Nexus 7, which is seeing strong early sales.
