Monday, July 16, 2012, 1:47 PM ETA federal district judge has thrown out an ancient, drama-filled antitrust suit filed by Novell against Microsoft (MSFT). The suit alleged Microsoft's release of Windows '95 (remember that?) violated antitrust laws, due to its removal of a file-management feature needed by Novell's WordPerfect. Novell was seeking nearly $1B in damages.
