    United Technologies (UTX) is in final discussions to sell its Rocketdyne business to Gencorp (GY), sources say, as United Tech works to divest non-core units and focuses on closing its Goodrich acquisition. A deal could be finalized late this week or early next.

    At our Godrich Aerostructures Corp plant in Chula Vista yesterday all of our Goodrich logos/signs on every building were torn down. Very surprising since we are not officially UTC yet the takeover date is 7/26

    I was at Douglas plant when Boeing took over and they at least waited to day one to tear down the company signs.

    This is a sad end to 140 years of Goodrich Corp.
