Monday, July 23, 2012, 12:16 PM ETContract manufacturer Pegatron has begun producing the next iPhone (AAPL), sources tell Digitimes. The report meshes with expectations of an early-fall launch. The site also claims Pegatron will be producing a new iPad (likely the iPad Mini), with "a few million units" expected to be shipped in Q3. Separately, 31% of respondents to a June ChangeWave survey said they're likely to buy the next iPhone. That's well above the 21.5% who last October said they're likely to buy the 4S.
