  • Have to pass through slow to get to recession and considering economic data is 'after the fact data' "slow" may have come and gone and we are into recession.

  • If this is not a recession, what is the difference? All numbers are down, growth near stall speed and not expected to get better and unemployment just sucks. Call it what you will, it ain't good. Nothing is pulling us out of the basement, nothing.
