I'm long on SNV, so a share price jump is certainly welcome, but why would the market would be so excited about a 1-cent dividend? IMO, they might as well not pay one at all if it's that low. Just wait another year or two and pay a real dividend then.

SNV went through a SHORT SQUEEZE yesterday! Most of the Regionals rallied on less bad news, and some good news.
