    A deal by General Motors (GM -0.5%) to sponsor soccer juggernaut Manchester United will include seeing brand Chevrolet displayed front and center on the team's jerseys starting in the 2014/2015 season. The club has only seen four other jersey sponsors in its storied history covering 134 years.

  • GM looses their star Market Manager, and their stock is in the teens.
    They are risking a buy-back scheme to sell cars.
    The government is buying a large stock of the volts and they are about to go broke.
    So what is the good news again?

  • Mad Max, interesting comments. Just read Automotive News' comments on the deal. Seems GM not only is standing by the deal Ewanick made, but is extending it from five years to seven years! And I thought that might have been why he was fired! Go figure.
