  • so much for "free trade". Now if only someone at Whirlpool would reply to my repeated emails asking for information about preventing a buildup of ice at the bottom of the freezer.

  • Whirlpool is now shutting down expensive union-wage plants because they can't sell their overpriced units. Buyers can only afford the cheaper non-union units made overseas. So government slaps a duty on those.
    Not only does the price of the cheaper unit go up, but the jobs we had here are gone too.
    That sounds like a plan.
