The investigation comes after New York's AG filed a $300M+ suit in April over Sprint's alleged failure to collect $100M+ in sales taxes over 7 years.

The swoon is more-likely related to the European mess and general market tone today; Sprint has exhibited this sort of beta spread for the last several months although it's nowhere near as bad now as it was a few month ago when the risk of a funding dislocation was hanging over their head.
Lift the stupid moratorium on drilling for natural gas and get things moving in NY. Pennsylvania has found a way to frack without harming groundwater. Politicians in NYC need to tour Western PA to see what a boom is taking place. Quite worrying about your "upstate" water supply. Western NY has nothing to do with NYC water. Lift the ban!
