When there was any volume after hours the price was up @2%. There was almost no volume at the lower prices. This is not a heavily traded stock in the first place, so the after hours market too thinly traded to be an indicator of the true market.
It's kind of like watching the awakening of a giant slowly rising from the ashes of a bad recession ... a giant badly in need of a transfusion to give it the energy to get up and rolling again. The story on this stock could not be better. It's called raising the sword toward energy independence ... moreover green energy independence in these times of growing concern over global warming and greenhouse gas. And, while fundamentally WPRT sings, technically it soars off that double bottom urged along by some rather notable insider purchasing.
Right now WPRT is still a 'story' stock. Is the story now better or worse than it was before the CMI 15 liter SI announcement? (i'd say better.)
Secondly, WPRT is about to change to a value/growth based valuation. I see this happening when the forecasted EPS turns positive, and this could happen with just a few quarters. I suspect it will happen much sooner than is currently forecast - based on the beat last quarter.
