Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) spent 59% more on lobbying in the first quarter than in the same period a year ago, as it presses the FCC for Net neutrality provisions to keep broadband providers from limiting traffic. The company spent 43% more to lobby in 2009 than it did in 2008.
