As an Agronomy major I am not aware of any problem here. Go Wal-mart - my wife's favorite stock since 1980.

Walmart sees " no scientifically validated" reason to not sell genetically modified agricultural products because NO testing on human health was ever mandated. The environmental downside is widely publicized, validated by science both private and public, and generally ignored due to "regulatory capture". Fox watching the hen house. But what is more telling about Walmart's comment is that they wanted to bring up the downside at all...and why? Because the labeling campaign ( Yes on 37) in California may in fact win despite millions in radio and TV advertising paid for by the Biotech sector, including MON. The national grocery alliance is against labeling.
