As expected, the unit is based out of the U.K., and features vets from Take-Two's (TTWO) Rockstar Games division. Compared with archrival Electronic Arts (EA), which obtained 16% of its revenue from mobile in Q2, Activision is a laggard in mobile gaming. But between the studio and the June creation of an iOS/Android publishing arm, the company is trying to make amends.
