Thursday, August 9, 2012, 1:03 PM ETLenovo's (LNVGY.PK) ThinkPad Tablet 2 is "the Windows tablet we've been waiting for," declares Mashable's Peter Pachal. Its thickness and weight is close to that of the ARM-based (ARMH) version of Microsoft Surface (not to mention the iPad), but unlike that product, the Tablet 2 runs Windows 8 Pro (MSFT), thanks to its use of an Intel (INTC) Clover Trail Atom CPU. That means it can run existing Windows apps in addition to new Metro apps. Pricing hasn't been disclosed. (Intel design wins)
