    Amazon (AMZN) is about to refresh its Kindle lineup, thinks Gizmodo, after noticing some major discounts for the hardware on Amazon's site. The 9.7" Kindle DX is 29% off, and Amazon's hourly Lightning Deals are chock full of Kindle merchandise. A Q3 refresh is widely expected, and widely considered necessary given soft e-reader sales and the Kindle Fire's struggles in competing with the iPad and the Nexus 7.
