    CBS (CBS) is among several suitors that have made it through to a second round of talks about acquiring Dick Clark Productions, Reuters reported late Friday. The owners are asking for $350M for Dick Clark, which produces shows such as the "Golden Globe Awards" and the "Miss Universe Pageant." The other potential bidders include Ryan Seacrest and P-E firms.

  • I see that the Core Media Group, which holds the rights to the Elvis Presley brand and produces American Idol, are also interested in acquiring Dick Clark productions as well as Ryan Seacrest Media - Ryan Seacrest being the host of American Idol. Now I'm confused !!!
