Under the plan, power will shift from regional chiefs to global leaders in areas such as manufacturing, IT, and marketing. The plan will also include a new accounting system with greater transparency.

If I were Obama (sic!), I would get Marchionne on board pronto. After all the guy owes him somewhat for getting Chrysler for next to nothing - but then did a herculean top job to turn it around.
