Comcast (CMCSA) appears set to slash its high-end broadband prices. An internal screenshot posted by Broadband Reports indicates Comcast will offer 300 Mbps service for $119/month in Q213, down from a current $300/month, and increase download speeds for two other pricing tiers from 25 to 50 Mbps and 50 to 105 Mbps, respectively. The new plans will reportedly be offered first in Verizon (VZ) FiOS markets - it might not be a coincidence the DOJ just mandated Verizon and Comcast's reseller deals exclude FiOS areas.
