    Shares of Monster Beverage (MNST +0.7%) show increased volatility with rumors cropping up again that the company is in play. For the most part, traders are skittish after seeing late buyers get burned when chatter of a Coca-Cola buyout of Monster fizzled last spring.

    What does this mean "that the company is in play?" Are you referring to a takeover, which I gather from the latter half of this.

    The take over rumors are getting so freaking old. Seriously takeover rumors have been going on for over 5 years...believe it when a deal is done.
