The Nikkei Average dipped 0.7% to 9,071, with exporter shares hardest hit: Hitachi (HTHIY -1.3% ), Pioneer (PNCOF.PK -4.1% ), Mitsubishi Motors (MMTOF.PK -2.6% ) and Panasonic (PC -1.4% %).
