Both the iOS and Android apps, meanwhile, will now deliver faster photo uploads and the real-time updating of "likes" and comments. Facebook had 543M mobile users at the end of Q2, including 103M who relied exclusively on mobile. But some think Facebook can't hope to match its PC activity share in mobile with just one popular app - that's an argument in favor of the Instagram deal, as well as secondary apps such as Camera and Messenger.
