  • I would tell CVX to beware the greeks bearing gifts,

My former life would tell me to put a failsafe ring at the botom of any well I dug in south america, that would bring the well down,. As I was leaving the country with what few assets I could carry, I would use my remote control and use the ring to bring down the well and let them start over. I have zero faith in the honor of other countries that own the resourses as they can just take them if they want. There is a lot of history of it beiing done.

  • I agree with 007. Argentina is a terrible, risky move for CVX.

  • If I could have my say, would certainly recommend Chevron NOT to get into business with YPF. REMEMBER THAT ARGENTINA'S GOVERNMENT AND PRESIDENT ARE DAY BY DAY TURNING MORE AND MORE TOWARDS CHAVEZ' SYSTEM, POLITICALLY AND SOCIALLY. BEWARE CHEVRON!!!! DO NOT NEGOTIATE WITH OUR GOVERNMENT UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON BECOMING JUST AS CORRUPT AS CRISTINA FERNANDEZ AND HER WHOLE BUNCH.
