    A couple more patent names moving thanks to Apple-Samsung: IDCC +5.3%. VHC +1.8%. Also, iPhone/iPad audio codec supplier Cirrus Logic (CRUS) is up 2.4%. Google's (GOOG) official response to the verdict is cautious: the company merely asserts most of Apple's patent claims "don't relate to the core Android operating system, and several are being re-examined" by the USPTO; and that everyone in the industry is "building upon ideas that have been around for decades."

    Apple gets my goat! Planned to buy a few of their stuff (iMac and an iPhone) but I have changed my mind in no uncertain terms. I like quality, and ethical behaviour but the hype has never been a pull factor for me. Because Android and Samsung phones are better alternatives to the iPhone Apple got spiteful?
