    AMD has hired John Gustafson, formerly the head of Intel's (INTC) eXtreme Technologies lab, to be the chief product architect for its graphics processor (GPU) business. Gustafson, known for the computer science law that bears his name, joins AMD less than a month after it hired Apple mobile processor chief Jim Keller to be the chief architect for its CPU division. Former graphics division chief Eric Demers left for Qualcomm in February. (GPU price cuts)

  • I feel that AMD is up to something big,that makes 2 every important people that AMD has hired in the last 3 months and one of those guys was the reason AMD cpu was better then intel from 2002-2005.
