    BP ventures into Australia’s bond market, issuing five-year Kangaroo bonds which could total at least A$300M (US$310M) and priced at ~115 basis points over the underlying swap rate, WSJ reports. Part of the attraction for BP is the strong exchange rate, which continues to defy the slump in commodities prices and trades near historic highs vs. the dollar, euro and pound.
